Mission Statement
Across the state, parents and volunteers organize local USAW/TWF
sanctioned clubs to responsibly foster, train, and develop young
wrestlers to achieve their full human and athletic potential. USA
wrestling's off-season amateur mat programs, have long been the
foundation on which highly successful high school wrestling teams
are built. In them, fledgling wrestlers of all ages have the
opportunity to improve their skills and physical condition during
the spring and summer months.
Statewide, club activities include the coaching and training of boys
and girls in a safe environment, while providing access to wrestling
mats, practice sites, and competition. We educate children in the
areas of health and nutrition, while providing an overall fitness
program for the members. The competitive divisions by age and weight
groups provide for the smallest or largest, shortest or tallest kids
to participate and even physically handicapped kids can and do
compete successfully. We sponsor and facilitate travelling youth
teams to regional, national and international competitive events.

Governing Body for amateur wrestling and a U.S. Olympic Committee
member, which allows our membership to compete in sanctioned local,
