Wrestler of the Month
Jimmy Hiller - Father Ryan

Jimmy Hiller will be a junior at Father Ryan High School this season. Competing in the Division II state tournament at 103 pound the past two years, he finished fifth in state as a freshman and was the state runner-up as a sophomore, going undefeated until the state final. Hiller also had a successful off-season, reaching the All-American round in the Cadet National Freestyle Championships at Fargo, N.D. this summer with a 4-2 record at 112 pounds. He also was a quarterfinalist in the NHSCA National Open Championships at Norfolk, Va. in July.
Coach of the Month
Brad Jackson - East Ridge High School

Brad Jackson was never intimidated by the big shadows cast from his predecessors at East Ridge High School: Mike Parker, 1975–1977…Lynn Goss, 1978–1984…Tom Jenkins, 1985–1987…Danny Gilbert, 1988–1993. Jackson, the Head Coach at East Ridge since ’94 is not only a keeping pace, but he fills those shoes well as a great wrestling coach, advocate, and fan. Coach Jackson has successfully coached three recent state champions: Josh Craft at 112 in 2000 - Jimmy Frederick at 140 in 2002 - Matt Graham at 189 in 2002 as well as numerous place winners each year. An eager coach and a thriving program whose momentum will continue to capture the spotlight of Division I Wrestling.
